Duni
The sea resort Duni is situated in Sozopol municipality, 7 km south of Sozopol, 40 km of Burgas and 10 km north of Ropotamo reserve. The climate here is continental, and the average temperature in July is + 23 - 24° С. It was constructed in 1987 and presently it attracts tourists, searching for peace and relaxation, luxury and sophistication. Its architecture is a blend of complementing styles. The dominating elements are Mediterranean and typically Bulgarian. The complex has a large beach, 4,5 km long and more than 100 m wide, covered with fine golden sand. It is situated along the main road to Tsarevo and the Alepu swamp. A quiet bay is formed in the northern part of the beach, where the Duni resort is situated. The sea here is crystal clear and gradually becomes deeper. For several years in a row, including 2011, the beach in Duni won the international eco-prize Blue Flag for pure environment, security and high-quality management. A great diversity of entertainment and attractions is provided for the guests of Duni. At the beach tourists can practice windsurfing and other water sports.
